Facts About Me:
1) I am a third year student at UC Berkeley working on a double major in English and Molecular & Cell Biology and a potential minor in Nutritional Sciences.
2) I have a younger brother who is entering the awkwardness of being a teenager.
3) I come from a very sheltered, and at times, overprotective, traditional Chinese family. Well no. That's my mother. My father is actually much much much more liberal.
4) I LOVE music. I live for music. I'd die for music.
5) My musical passions lie in my piano, Jackson Browne, Elvis Costello, Joni Mitchell, Eagles, John Lennon, old Elton John, and many other singer/songwriters from the 60s and 70s.
6) My favorite song of all-time is Jackson Browne - Sky Blue and Black. My rotating favorites include 10000 Maniac's Because the Night, Garbage's #1 Crush, various 80s tunes, Motown hits and other classic rock songs.
7) I hate (pop) music today and am often very opinionated about the new degrees of suckiness of mainstream culture.
8) I was born an 80s child. My childhood idol was Cyndi Lauper. Oftentimes I feel I should've been born a flower child instead.
9) I have an obsessive handbag and shoe fetish that often wreaks havoc on my bank account.
10) I love my friends and am deathly loyal to them.
11) I am a Capricorn and believe strongly in how astrological signs can affect relationships.
12) I am a Buddhist. But if you ask me what I believe in, I will say Rock 'n Roll.
13) I am an emotional roller coaster. When I'm happy, nothing can bring me down. When I'm sad, I become manic depressive and suicidal. (But I hide it well most of the time)
14) I was born on the 13th. It is my lucky number. So is 8 because I am a superstitious Cantonese girl.
